In 1980, Karen’s grandmother opened a small children’s underwear factory in Brazil. Thirty years later, it had become one of the country’s main exporters: more than 100 different brands relied on her work, and today more than 12,000 garments are produced weekly.
Her grandmother designed and manufactured panties for girls aged 3 to 12, always with a very clear obsession: good stitching, good materials, and perfect finishes. There, among piles of fabrics and machines running non-stop, Karen and the rest of the family learned the trade.
