Sustainability at Bossa

At Bossa, we believe that sustainability is not just about labels, but about daily decisions: what materials we use, where we produce, how much we manufacture, and how we ship each order.

That's why we make all our lingerie in our workshop in Girona, using certified materials and small production runs, so that each garment has a purpose and doesn't become forgotten stock.

More conscious materials

We pay a lot of attention to what fabrics come into the workshop, because they are the foundation of how each garment feels and how long it lasts.

  • ECO COTTON COGS

We use organic cotton that meets higher standards in cultivation and treatment, always seeking the best balance between comfort, durability, and lower impact.

  • Bamboo fibers and natural lycra

We incorporate more naturally sourced bamboo and lycra fibers to create soft, breathable, and pleasant garments that feel good against the skin.

  • Lace with OEKO-TEX certificate

Our lace comes from a supplier in Portugal with an OEKO-TEX certificate, which guarantees that the fabrics have been tested for harmful substances.

  • Certified suppliers

We work only with suppliers that have recognized certifications, to ensure that what arrives at our workshop meets minimum standards of responsibility.

Made in Girona

Own production in Girona

All our lingerie is designed and made in our workshop in Girona. We do not outsource production: we control every step, from the pattern to the last stitch.

We produce small batches, a maximum of 5 units per size, to avoid overproduction. Sizes XS and XL upwards are made to order, based on measurements, to ensure a better fit and prevent garments from going unused.

We renew models and designs every month, but we always keep our best sellers in stock, the pieces you ask for most and that we know work.

Making better use of what we have

We try to ensure nothing gets lost along the way.

Remnants with a second life

The fabric scraps are recycled or used to make lingerie for people with fewer resources. This way, we extend the lifespan of materials and reduce waste.

Recyclable packaging

We use recyclable cardboard packaging from a certified supplier, along with tissue paper and recyclable cotton. We want the packaging to protect your garment, but also to have the least possible impact.

One shipment per order

Whenever possible, we ship everything in a single package to reduce unnecessary transportation.

More responsible shipping

We work with standard postal shipping with assigned collection, to optimize routes and reduce extra travel, which helps to decrease the CO₂ footprint associated with each order.

We are not perfect, but we are constantly reviewing our processes to improve and make increasingly conscious decisions.

Small steps, same goal

Bossa was born from a family tradition of sewing and a small workshop in Girona. Our way of doing things involves producing less, better, and closer to home, with selected materials and garments designed to last.

Every time you choose a Bossa garment, you are supporting this type of production: local, mindful, and with an eye on the long term.
